This mural is a representation of the two shops within the shared space of the Foss building, adding color and verve to Golden, Colorado. With both Old Barrel Tea Co. and Foss Co. Liquors, I wanted to create a reflection of how both shops add so much joy to the town with a shared uniqueness of good drinks! Combining this, of course, with the fact that this building literally resides within the historic Golden valley full of age-old memories both geological and cultural. Both shops represent an existence of western history, while also displaying their own personalities. I wanted to celebrate this vivid energy, with a certain psychedelic western twist.
